+1

Seen a few NIB ones on ebay as well too for that price.

Probably could get a few of the smaller online shops to match that price too.

I ordered new cva bones some days ago, and only just now realized.. the FT manual lists both front and rear CVAs as 91040, while the non-FT manual lists 91040 as front and 91041 as rear. What is the difference between the two?

OK. So I liked the Shorty pack solution and am planning installation. I baught two shorty packs and would like to use the FT saddle pack battery brace but rotated 90 degrees. Anyone have insight into this? I won't be able to do the installation until late July.

OK the Reedy Shorty packs that I bought are 94mm long and 47mm wide each. That means that they will be 94mm x 98mm in the tray. Saddle packs are 69.5mm x 47mm which results in 69.5mm x 98mm. This means that I can mount them with the short side (long side of the hardcase) across the chassis and use the stock battery strap. I wouldn't need to FT battery brace. I would have to mount the ESC where the receiver box is and the reciever can go under the strap on the slipper side. That is my plan and I hope to provide pics in July when I get to this. I would love to see some pics of peoples installations.

Secondarily the Reedy Shorty packs are 202gms each (404gm together) when my stick packs are over 300gms. The Reedy Saddle packs are 298gms. That means that I would be adding 100gms to the weight of the vehicle. I think this is great for managing front/rear balance. I plan to get this truck to 50/50 f/r weight if possible.

So do the RPM arms actually resist warping anymore than the stock ones? My left front one is bent almost 10 degrees.

For your shorty setup, what are you using to brace the batteries, between the ESC and batteries?

can use metric instead for mounting the C-tower

Can't assume everyone has 4 screws or lock nuts, metric or standard ...

only benefit to use standard thread buttons is
no need to drill the holes on C-tower

also
think the orange lock nut looks eye candy as well

Did forget one thing though ....

need 2 #31286

I've been running mine since february and only today flipped them around cause they started showing signs of bending.
