If your looking at the ft upgrade package that includes the clutch basket it's a really good deal if you're still running the original slipper.

You must either be running a ton of extra timing or have some drive train issues. I run 16/62 with mine and come off 8min mains in the mid 140's on motor and 120's on the MMP

What track is he running on? Is he just blasting up and down the street full throttle each way?

A while back, Wild Cherry wanted to compare the weight of my clutch basket with AE's new basket. Apples and oranges really. my scale only reads grams, and they weighed the same. However, I finally was able to machine some prototypes for the new slipper. Near as I can measure, they're half the weight of AE's.

Hope you do well with the new version of your slipper,.

Seems rather clear the new Ae VTS slipper performance sets a new standard for everyone to beat ...

Just built a new brace! Camo and much stiffer than the AE carbon one.

Before anyone says anything, lets be honest how many of you have actually popped a ballcup and when you did what else did you break in that crash?

Okay have a wieght question, maybe WC can chime in.
Want to shave some weight of my truck, currently weighs in at 6lbs 8.5oz
rtr.

Does anyone know how much wieght the titanium turnbuckles will save?

Also I was positive that the TiN hingpins, and shock shafts are titanium with a coating, but can't find anything on AE's site that leads me to believe this. Are the titanium?

Try aluminum screws. I believe the turnbuckles shave .2 oz. But don't listen to me on shaving weight lol (look at above pic, 5.5 oz added)

Default First time out w/ the FT

Finally got to go out and drive my new FT with the RX8 and the Pro4 4600.

What a blast! Venom 5000mah 20c pack lasted about 16.5 minutes.

I have a couple questions:

1. Temp got up to about 165 degrees with a 13t pinion while moving, 180 degrees when sitting, is this acceptable. When should I start getting worried?

2. I mounted the RX8 on the ESC tray w/ the servo tape provided in the kit, it didn't hold and the RX8 broke free and was bouncing around. What are you all using to hold down the ESC?

Thanks for all the help!

Are you running on a track or just running it around where ever? If at a track what size?????? I use 3M double sided tape to hold down my esc and its never popped off.....
