I really like the idea of the center stick pack mod and copied it with my twist. I offset it a little from center so that installing the battery is a little easier, I never liked how tight of a fit the battery is under the tunnel.

I also didn't cut the side railing. The MMP fits perfectly under the tunnel in the opposite orientation of normal. Will see if temps change.

Thanks for the ideas.

IMO, that's the best one I've seen yet. Nice job.

Went out to my Island Raceway and Hobby in Lindenhurst today. Was a good day for r&d on my center stick pack setup....and front springs in the rear testing. Centering that stick pack took some time and effort buy I feel it was well worth it. Much more stable in transition from left to right turns now. Also helped with taking jumps...it was just more stable in air....no wobble in air any more! Last week I tried the Blue fronts in the Rear since I had an extra set and I thought it was the hot ticket....today, Whites proved to be even better! Thanks to all who blazed the path before me.....lol.

for the guys running saddles inline, are you adding any weight to the front left?

I run a Exotek with the RX8 to the right and Airtronics to the left.

I dont have jeweler's scale so I want to ball park it.

Jeff, I wasnt there to race last friday night but this is what it looks like for the next week or two. Trophy race on April first=new layout the week before. Just when I got used to this one...lol. The fastest guy is a Losi sponosored driver....he can turn 16.4. Fastest practice lap I have ever turned was 16.5 and that MUST have been a fluke since I usually run 18.5-20's. Its a hard packed clay...has a groove in it and not too many "big" jumps....but they still take some practice to hit right.

Practice session last Weds....

A buddy of mine was on the track and decided to shoot some video and run some commentary....lol. Not the best Vid quality but gives an idea of what we run on right now.

Exactly! I got out of racing 12 years ago....real life got in the way of all the nonsense. Without elaborating I will just say that its a much more pleasant experience when I load up the car and drive out to have FUN.

Don and Oz are great people.....they strive to make everyone feel welcome and happy to be there. They go out of their way to make it a welcome place to be!
