SC10 4x4 Thread
rough track handling for me I found some chassis flex at least in 1/8 scale worked quite well.
Part of the reason I went away from alloy chassis braces to plastic ones.
On a 1/10 scale car, what I heard was similar when people would use the plastic chassis instead of the more rigid graphite one on the B4 / T4.

The chassis brace is a belt stability device. The stock belt tunnels aren't robust enough.

So, it would not be unreasonable to have the chassis brace on for belt skipping and the exotek more for weight (and help with some flex/belt skipping)? Probably overkill, but wouldn't be a bad thing.
Well since I had to replace my servo saver I decided to go ahead with my project of converting my sc10 4x4 stick pack to the center.........And since the esc (will be here tomorrow) I'll be using is bigger then the MMP I had devise a way for it to fit...... So I ended up with this:

It's still not perfectly centered, but I did it as much as I could without having to worry about the drive belt getting into the way..........As you can see I just reused the esc tray and moved it to the other side...... I'll test it out at the track and if I don't like it I have my spare chassis as a backup to put it back the way it was. Not bad for 15 bucks (spare chassis, and battery holder)

Not unreasonable. I don't hate the stock chassis. IMO the truck needs more weight, but it needs it in the front section, not in the middle, and not in the back.
Went out to my Island Raceway and Hobby in Lindenhurst today. Was a good day for r&d on my center stick pack setup....and front springs in the rear testing. Centering that stick pack took some time and effort buy I feel it was well worth it. Much more stable in transition from left to right turns now. Also helped with taking jumps...it was just more stable in air....no wobble in air any more! Last week I tried the Blue fronts in the Rear since I had an extra set and I thought it was the hot ticket....today, Whites proved to be even better! Thanks to all who blazed the path before me.....lol.
