Default Tire sauce

In my noobness I just found out about tire sauce. Do you guys use it on the 4x4?

I run on slick clay and seems to by why everyone else is getting a lot more traction than I am.

They don't allow that stuff within 10miles of a track around here.

Yea would rather not use it, one less thing to deal with, but don't want to be at a disadvantage.

If the fast guys are running sauce, and you want to be one of them, you need to use the exact same sauce they use the exact same way they do it. This is a huge deal indoor. Outdoor? Not so much. At a minimum, I'd clean my tires between rounds, and treat with Simple Green.

Only way a 1/10th car is gona perform the way it was intended on those tracks is if they redesign the layout for a 1/10th scale ride..

It won't happen, the 1/8th guys would never allow a 1/10th to go as fast as their precious 1/8th buggy on there layouts ....

Reality is a bitch
Haha, then you should really watch me race my b44.1 on a very 1/8 scale track and I set the fastest lap times of the day all the time. Only the eTruggies are on the same lap times as I am. Just saying...

It also depends on the fluids. I used to use Losi and PT fluids, I had not used AE fluids really regularly until I switched to AE cars exclusively. I'm still really surprised at how much longer they last and how well they hold up. After a full race weekend when I break down my diffs they are still about 80% or more clear. The other fluids in the past would break down and turn all gray and stinky.

I guess that is a plug for AE fluids, but they really are better! lol

You can feel it too, the rear will start to "diff out", like come around a lot faster than it did a few packs before, generally that's fluid time.

I don't want for it to be empty to change it, lol.

Hey guys I remember someone saying they are running the Gens Ace 6000 saddle packs with the b44.1 post and straps. I tryed searching but cant find it. Let me know who you are! I will send you a PM so I dont junk up the thread. I just dont see how the post will be tall enough to fit over the "tall" packs. Or even the straps fitting with the belt tunnel so close.

Thanks.

I would normally change after every 2or 3 races. I was installing a Exotek chassis today and noticed some of the 3x14mm chassis screws were too long for the Exotek chassis holes. Is this normal? If so will the 3x12mm work as they screw all the way in.
