Talking

finally had a chance to run some laps against a couple of Losi's today. The center diff, 2 stage pistons and the Tenshock 4600kv were working well. I used the Losi's for practice passing lapped traffic I did notice they "sound" fast. Couldn't hear my truck over the rattle and clank of thier drive train along with the chassis slap. A 1/8th nitro truggy showed up and drowned them out.

The thing I found real suprising was that I could drive any line I wanted to get around the Losi's. I could take the outside line on the straight and then dive behind them and carry the speed on the inside line through the corner as they blew through it trying keep pace. They got pretty frustated real quick I could go wide and hit the soft stuff without losing speed or control and come out of the corner hot and lined up for what ever came next. I was even keeping pace with the 1/8th Nitro Truggy for the short time he was there. Now I just need to practice more so I can use all the potential this thing has.

Marcus,
You need to have some decals made. I'd be more than happy to advertise for you at the track.

Looking forward to Sundays race.

Something would have to go in one of the other holes and then touch the jumper plug. Highly unlikely to happen; just don't throw your battery in with your pliers and you will be fine. Or leave the pack in the truck. I guess better safe then sorry but you will be sorry when you are at the track without a jumper plug.

I have been searching all night and I can not find anying thing on the "cavs set up"

Wife bought me a RTR for X-Mas....put on a set of Bar Codes & sway bars and did my first race at WCRC last night. Had a lot of fun ended up 4th truck was very loose off the corners

Looking for a good starting point for Diff Fluids, Shock Fluids, Sway Bars, Spring Rates and Ride Hights for WCRC

I did feel like a loner.....The only SC10 4X4 in a gaggle of Losi

Thanks
Bob

Main website - Setup sheets. Dunno how you didn't find it. Not a problem, man.

Make like 4 of them and put some in your tool box too. Also put shrink wrap over the top. Take a quick look at the pictures of the FT truck.

Good idea, I'll just toss my packs in the salt bath, and throw the mount in the trash so I don't have to worry about coming up with a simple solution to a silly problem.

I just tied it to the tunnel using a little spider wire, problem solved.

Best get to reading. Lots of good info in the thread. Start on page 1.

That is where I started with my RTR.

You could always steal somebodies Du-Bro body clip rubber leash and use it as a lanyard for your saddle jumper.

Glad to hear your center diff is working well for you.
I ordered mine on the 22nd and still waiting for it to be shipped.
My stock and HD slipper pads are smoked.

I waited 3 weeks + and was worth it. You're probably? getting v2. (don't quote me) So even better.

I'm going to "try" the vts Slipper from AE then put my center diff in my FT (I just want to try new things)

Agreed. Only issue is that once you switch, you have to undo your setup for working around the poor power distribution with the stock setup. Like no more 30k diff fluid up front, etc.

I'm still running the front yellow springs/sway rear blue spring/sway and tweaking it out to remove some of the push. Half my problem was that my dumbass was running overdrive front pully by accident, once I fixed that, I just needed to add a little camber up front to help the wheels bite a little more on the slick clay I was running on. I'm playing with diffent shock mount settings now to remove some rear weight transfer prior to switching to yellow rears.
