Cameron, Im running the brace on one truck....that will be the one I open up for sight seeing...lol. As soon as I get my second brace from Senor Coyote I will probably do both. His brace has worked wonders for my truck!

running indoor carpet. kinda tight track. I am thinking of getting a tenshock sc411 4000 or 4600kv 550 sensored motor. any thoughts on this motor. will it be too much of a beast for a tight indoor track. I was playing with 540 setups but either to slow or too hot.
would the 4000kv be quick or would I want to get 4600

4,000kv will be fine on a tight indoor track. You will most likely be overpowered with a 4600kv motor on a small track.

ok check out you tube johnbugman...... look for new green machine video... If you want to kick ass with plenty of power do the tenshock 411 4600kv like im running! My setup is tekin rx8 and 411 4600 kv. carpet should be just fine. just gear it down accordingly. im running 14 tooth. its the top 550 motor on the market hands down!

nope no mods needed. fits like a glove. Its wise to over power then cutback so your not maxing out your electronics for good heat management and life of electronics.

If you can turn down the punch a little on your speedo you can then gear up without the heat, You also gain runtime this way.

I just don't want to order the 4600kv to have it be uncontrollable.
suppose gear down as well as radio adjustments should bring it down to managable....
I was testing a 6.5 viper 540 can and it was perfect for speed but could not get it to run cool at all.
going to be using this esc. 100a sensored.

talked to a couple guys who are running 550 motors on these and said they run good. maybe try and save pennies for a hobbywing pro sct 120a but not sure

it would be fine. it all depends on your total setup. If your gonna get knockoff stuff you wont be in the winner circle. nuff said.

been winning with knockoff stuff all year so couldn't disagree more
we all can't afford the most expensive equipment.
some of the "knockoff stuff" is pretty good these days.
besides I am a club racer and not going to roar nats or anything
