i dont know why i want to use the old vorza chassis with the tekno kit, i dont think it will improve anything. except it will cause it so i cant use my new losi body, that would suck.

Well it depends really... Before I do my projects, i want to ask myself what I really wanted for the build. Astethics or performance? Then I make sure that no matter what step i take, it should be flexible to go either way. Just like my fabricate alum chassis. Designed it to accomodate the original parts but enough room to swing it for the midmotor project. Hope that helps to make you decide what you really want with your vorza

yeah youre right. im afraid that the tekno conversion weakened the machine. it made it lighter for racing and more efficient but i dont feel like it has the same tank-like durability now. im not sure, i may be changing the chassis...

From what i know about the vorza, originally it was built to be somewhat competitive and durable at the same time. And we know we can't have both. It's either for racing or bashing period. So if you race a lot, i suggest keep it with the tekno stuff. Just my .02

im going to keep the tekno vorza together, it handles so much better and i love the straight center drive train.

there are ways to do it, do a search on here about waterproofing batteries and you will find many hits. they use products like plastidip and liquid tape, they work well for batteries. also max amps sells their lipo's as 'waterproof'. i put that in quotes because i have never submerged them in water. if you cant find anything ill point you in the right direction. in fact i started a thread on here about waterproofing in the off road electric section. youll get a hailstorm of input, everyone has there own way and everyone elses way sucks so take them with a grain of salt and make your best informed decision!!

let me know if you need more info
