Thanks Bro. Really appreciate the support and offer. I'll keep in touch as much as I can while deployed. Planning to take my RC18R with me just to have something to play and tinker with, lol. The problem is the charger for my lipo. Don't have anything small enough that doesn't need a separate power supply, lol. Been looking for one. Any suggestion where I can purchase one? A cheap lipo charger that doesn't need a powersupply capable of atleast 3amps.

there is always this charger

http://www.hobbypartz.com/thac6smbachw.html

is it pretty compact you can fit everything you need in the box it come in the box is 8.5 x 7.5 x 2.5in. and it is a ac/dc charger so it will not need a power supply.

Wow, great find. Thanks bro and that's what I like about our community. This will really work and can't beat the price.

yup, no problem. it is the one i am currently using and i love it. also it will charge up to 5 amps so it is not bad for a little cheap charger.

I also use a cheap one. The turnigy 200w that charges up to 10Amps. Unfortunately, it requires a separate power supply. Should have been fine but have no room for so much stuff. So planning to take the minimum items for running and sustain till the end of my deployment. Maybe I should start another thread titled "accepting RC18 parts donation for a dude going on deployment".

But going back to the original topic. Just got some good deal for the proline power stroke shocks. Planning to install that to my project and still waiting for the battery tray which tracking number indicates it would arrive today. If it does, expect for some new photos tomorrow. Stay tuned

Yup. They're heavy duty with a supersmooth stroke. Was thinking to put it on my sc10 that i use for the races but it's overkill for the sc10. Kept it light anyways and been running 3300mah lipo to keep it on the light side. Ever since switched to lightweight lipos, the 17.5 motor never had a problem keeping up even w/o boost from my mmp

Have you tried the D8 oversize shocks on your vorza? Seen a lot of our racers here in SD using those no matter what buggy truggy they're using.

Then you're set. I only heard good things about those shocks. You don't like them? Anyway, i just installed the battery cage and electronics on my project. Since i'm aiming for the blue look, i installed the traxxas 2075 servo and the vxl system. Will download photos later tonight or tomorrow morning

Default Photos and Update

Here is what I've done so far. Installed the battery cage and the vxl system. Trying to keep it blue and the traxxas 2075 servo fell into place nicely. Even the lipo is Blue, Now I'm deciding which wheel and tire combination to use and what body to top it off. I have the dessert militia and dessert rat that is still clear. So what do you guys think?
