I have never lost a tire on a properly glued wheel....my tires on my beadlocks blew off within 6 laps. Glue the tires well and you will be all set.

Internet high-five! It's a give take relationship. I've been married 9yrs in March. I've have big toys ($30k+ into a car) and now getting into these R/C cars. My wife likes to shop for clothes & purses. As long as the bills are paid and we can afford what we want we get it. Of course we discuss everything first also. To tell someone it's XYZ or me, they need to go. I would never say that to my wife nor would she to me. /end LOL!!

Saw your location. Are you in Houston or Iraq right now? If you're in Houston, bring that thing out and race.

There isn't a RTR car on the market that comes with good servos. Run it like it is, upgrade when you can to somethign with more torque, more speed, and metal gears. You can get the Savox servos for about $70, supposed to be great servos. When you're headed back to H'town hit me up, I'll tell you where the racing is.

the stock servos have plastic gears and are slow, savox servos are excellent,i have them in a revo and am putting them in my new on road. i have to try that brass pipe trick on my off road 4x4 as the dirt and pebble damage is getting expensive....

Wow Thanks Guys!! I have had a rc10 , rc10t, rc12 carpet car and so on. I've owned 1 losi but have been out of rc for about 18 yrs. Ive had this slash for about 2 months now and have only broke the front a-arm. so far so good. I do know that any rtr car is not top of the line but it is a starting point for me!

I just got the Castle 6900 kv with the V2 sidewinder combo and a 2s lipo. I changed the pinion to a 9t but I'm thinking of going back to the 13t and see what that will do.
