I have to sell my Ten-SCTE for financial reasons. I wanted to give the guy's on this forum the first chance before I put in on the "for sale" forum. The truck has only been test run in the yard for a few minutes. The grease has been removed from the diffs and 4-7-2 oils put in. The chrome rings have been removed form the wheels and the body has been painted. I hardened the diff pins myself and they had/have little wear on them. I'm asking $250 plus shipping but feel free to make an offer. No trades please.

PM me if your interested. It goes in the for sale forum tomorrow.

Thanks

I stand corrected.. at any rate, for me anyway 40wt ae front and 30wt ae rear works great, jumps great.. and maybe worth trying. I use the stock springs and discs all around.

My rear springs I did shorten slighlty (cut top off). If you do this, do it knowing you cannot go back and don't be mad if you don't like it. I wanted different ride heights than I could get w/ it so I cut it until I can get a silver (soft) spring.

PS I don't need a stiffer spring in the front on my truck but this maybe due to mine is quite a bit lighter than stock.

My setup is MMP with Neu 1509 1.5D 4500kv, 2s 5250mah 60C. This motor is a monster, with a 12T pinion, I get up to 40mph on the straightaway, it runs at 130 degree all day. Here is a video I posted 100 pages ago

Are you saying you cut a little off of the spring off to get what a silver spring would be?

Please tell me this is what you are saying.

Not exactly.. I had my retainers backed off all the way with the stock spring and couldn't get what I wanted for ride height, keep in mind slightly reduced weight. No spring choices are a available for now so I just trimmed my rear springs.. this changes a lot of things but it works, at least for me, and it gives me the feel 'I' like w/ the stock discs and 30wt ae oil.

I'm not defensive, I just have a different point of view than you do.... and I'll say so. I simply don't like it when others that have no business doing so tell people what should or should not be posted on a thread. As long as it pertains to the Losi SCTE...its all good in my book. Complaints and all. And with that I'll get off my soapbox....

Excellent idea on the page one deal SaladFork. I didn't know you were providing that service for all of us. Thanks !! Makes it much easier for us ADD guys....

For all you weight conscious guys, SNR Graphite is making a carbon fiber shock tower / body mount combo for the Losi SCTE. You have to use the Jammin SCRT10 body mounts with it though. Steve makes top notch stuff from my experience. http://www.snrgraphite.com/
I'm not sure if, or how much, the location of the body pins move versus stock.

not trying to burst your bubble or anything, but a couple people already have posted about that. Jammin also made CF towers for it.

I was debating on saying anything due to past responses.
