Yeah i read the dimensions and wrote them down but I don't have the tools to accurately make them. I saw where people got the "Chris Attebery" pins but didn't know exactly how to purchase them. and as far as it being odd that I missed the fix...u try reading through 331 pages in 1 night.
Go to the for sale section and search Chris Attebery or Diff pins.

Got my diff pins coming from Chris on Tuesday! Should have done it sooner but oh well. So as far as the rest of the parts on backorder is it really going to be June or what? I'll just have to drive smooth and not take chances....probably better that way anyhow.

gotta tech question for everybody,
alot of people are saying that using 5-5-3 in the diffs are a good set up. wondering if I went just a little heavier on the grease like say 15-15-10 or somthing thats about the same ratio, would the balance still be the same for on power steering as the 5-5-3 setups feel, or would it be way off because less diff action with heavier weights?
just curious in case of slightly ruff track in the begining of out door season which is fast approching.

If for some reason you wanted less diff action thicken it up.. l/r f/r. I don't see why you would go any higher than 573, typical is 553 and if you have a real loose track you may want 552. I guess if you were super high bite on indoor carpet people like to go up a little but even then 7,7,3 maybe. My guess is folks running 540,550 motors stick with 5k center, and those folks running 1/8 systems and 3s lipo's may want to move up to a 7k center to keep the front end from blowing out. I would think 5k front would work for everyone and a 2 or 3k rear depending on track conditions. I'm not a pro so take it for what it's worth.. just an opionion from an avid racer

i just put the mamba max pro system in my truck and now i'm looking for the right battery. i'm goin to run 2s, so what battery size would be the way to go. what's the minimum c rating? also when losi gets the pin issue taken care of will we be able to get them for free and how will we know when and how?

im going to run 5/7/2 you guys think that will be a good starting spot?

Setup not working out for you? Seems like a good place to start. I've got the 4.5t and 5.5t novak ballistic with tekin rx8 and I feel the power's just not there. As I gear up my runtime's are horrible 4-6 minutes and heat is an issue. Setup was awesome in my jammin scrt10 but just a little lacking in the scte. The jammin had a 46t spur and 13t pinion stock. I wish they had a bigger spur for the losi although I am not sure of the final drive ratio in the diffs. Does anyone know? I'm thinking the same thing with 1/8th scale electrics but want to race with it and our track does not allow.
