This thread is getting too infused with drama, and on it's way out. Thus the problem with threads that grow to 2 million and a half pages.

2 little problems i found when building.

#1 the body posts do not quite fit the towers. I had to dremel them to allow the nut to sit flush. Even that its not perfect. You will have to redo your holes in your body to accommodate.

#2 the steering linkage on the inside requires you to use 2 of the smallest tapered washers i have ever seen. Its dam near IMPOSSIBLE to get them in place without it dropping or flying off the linkage. Took me almost 30mins to do that alone.

I found the body mount thing to be alittle upsetting myself... You can only use the outside holes on the rear... unless you shim the mount away from the shock tower to clear the nut on the shock standoff... I'll be honest I didnt even try to put those dubro ends on with the shims... but at least I know what to look forward too...

Other than that this kit is quality... cant wait to race it...

Yes it will cut out and cause heat problems. They sell a solder tab and isolater set its part TEKTT2514.Instead of hanging your wires off the back of the motor run them towards the pinion and then over to your esc.

Don't need new towers. But you do need the 8ight shock standoffs.

Awesome, so the shock standoffs are the things the TOP of the shock goes into, and the bottom will fit fine into the Losi Ten SCTE arms?

Do I need two sets of FRONT shocks or just a set of front and rear?

I do have the 8ight shocks and I think u have it backwards since u want a taller tower due to the taller shocks and don't need the stand offs as the bolts work fine just get the 8ight bushings for the shock caps! If u use the 8ight stand offs u will have to drill out the tower holes for the larger 8ight stand offs and I won't use the 8ight stand offs on my new SNR towers becuz if I do it will make for less support where the holes are and to do that doesn't make sense when u can use the scte stand offs or bolts just as easy without ruining the integrity of the tower just to use stand offs from for the 8ight....but that's me! So if someone wants 8ight stand offs I will sell them and they are brand new

But get fronts and rears...and the bottoms might need a few small washers but don't remember right off hand and also the bushings for inside the shock cap hole
