Could help but I did not need that Spektrum CAP you mention nor the Castle BEC that I had bought... Just in case...
You will have to try though if you are using Spektrum rx SR3300, you are good to go. My experience anyway.

btw this is the best 4wd truck ever
I believe its 20,000 so if you like oil instead of grease try that. also when rebuilding your diffs use grease around the dog insert to seal. once you go to grease you then will be rebuilding your diffs once a month or at least after ten or so races. 3 rear 5 center. 7 or 5 front. hope this helps

I going to listen to others and play with going up on the pinion, I am looking for more bottom end, I think on the tight track hes keeping up because of the lower kv which I read has more torque than a higher kv motor.
Me and the guy im racing are equall drivers
Hope this explains some of this, The higher KV a motor the more rpms it will spin which means more top end it will have. 4600kv pro4 spins more rpms then the 2700kv so it will have more top end.

Here's the second part of this, The Rotor size inside the motor will make one motor have more torque then another, Hence the Pro4 4600kv rotor someone said is between 18.5-19mm which is a massive rotor which equates to lots of torque. The Castle 3800kv I believe its a 17mm Rotor has lots of torque but not as much as the larger pro4 18.5mm Rotor.

If you run a Pro4 4600kv slap a 14t pinion and youll have plenty of torque down low and more then enough top end to blow by this 2700kv motor.

and to top it all off, KV isn't everything. Watts is power. So a lower kv motor can be more powerful than a higher rated kv motor. Not saying that is necessarily the case here, but it's pretty common to see in 13.5's etc... KV is far from the be all end all of motor ratings. There is also efficiency to consider, though to a lesser degree. In other words, lots of factors to consider.

Default Tire question

I know this question has probably been asked and answered, but I can't find it. I would like to put Barcodes on my truck. What do I need to do in order to do that? Do I need to buy new wheels? If so, what do I buy? I understand that there is an offset that doesn't allow just any wheel to fit. Thanks!

It not so much the offset as it is the reinforcements built into the wheels. Slash Rears will fit but the reinforcements inside the wheels hit the spindles on the Losi.

When shopping just look for the ones made for the Ten-SCTE, stock Losi wheels, DE Racing, not sure if Proline, JConcepts or others have produced wheels yet.

i tried my buds kyosho sc rear and it worked but made the rear really wide but handled awesomely on carpet with mini pin schumachers
but stock rims work best for me so far , tried the de wheels in black , they were ok, tried de whites and they felt softer.
