Very nice! I did the same exact thing this week, plus convert to emulsion shocks. I have a feeling it's gonna feel like a totally different ride....

It's been a pricey week for me, a tuning kit and the TLR chassis. I only planed on getting the tuning kit, but the local shop owner went fishing for a sucker using that damned chassis. I did notice that the adjustable suspension mounts were a really tight fit on the TLR chassis, and my shock caps were a tight when I tried to screw them on. Other than that i'm happy.

When shock oils are listed in set-up sheets I assume it's Losi oil. Is Losi oil weight the same as Associated oil? I thought one had a higher number but don't remember witch one. Anyone know?

It's not the same, it's 2.5wt lower or higher, I forgot which way. Stick with the losi oil

Edit: Lower, here's a link

I installed a Castle 1415 2400kv motor in my SCTE with a 13 tooth pinion and ran it on 3s today, man is that thing a rocket! I just traded a Hyper 10tt for a Jammin SCRT 10 and i'm giving my son my Losi. I like the way the Jammin corners but it sure doesn't flow over the rough stuff as smooth as the Losi.

anyone know what size the dif o-rings are? My difs are leaking like crazy. Cant even get thru a race day without having the handling starting to get slopy from the dif fluid getting low. I replaced them with new stock orings and its a little better but its still leaking thru the o-ring. If anyone knows what size they are supposed to be I want to try and find something that may be slightly oversize to help seal it up better. Dont really want to tear the dif apart right now just to measure it. I just got done tearing them all down and changing/refilling them for a race tomorrow and I didnt think of it until I was done.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found that my diffs were leaking around the steel insert that presses into the diff case. I glued them in and haven't had a drop leak out since.

^^This- Do this and your leaking diff problems will go away. No need for oversized O-rings, etc..

Also sand your diff cases.

Good call guys. Thanks. Now that you say that Im sure thats my problem. Was thinking about getting some new dif cases anyway to try to fix this issue. Its to late tonight to pull them all break them down, clean them and glue them then put it all back together. Gotta be up to head to the track in 6 hours, so I'll order a set of cases and do this on the new parts.

Thanks again. Saved me the trouble shooting time.
