I like both. I use mostly sensored in my vehicles. But the Neu1410 I have in my SCTE is just an awesome motor.

I guess it really depends on size of track, but I'd start about there. If it's a particularly large track with a huge straight, say a 160' or larger straight, maybe try a 17 or 18t. But that 16t on 3s and 2650 was super fast and REALLY torquey. Just remember to up your shock oil weights and use heavier springs and you should be good to go

I agree on parts. get the CF towers and race it like you own it. oils in shocks, and diffs. a little blue loctite on some bolts and nuts, a good set of tires to fit your track, a good motor and speed control. cut a pound off of it and have fun...

Oh, I forgot to mention... GET THE SERRATED LOCKNUTS. I've lost a wheel twice using just serrated nuts, but it was during practice sessions when I didn't wash my tires for several packs.

I sign up for newsletters from Losi and I still don't hear about new products until they get posted in this thread.

This is exactly the truck I've been wishing someone would make. I've been waiting so long, too bad I haven't started saving yet.

It's 4WD, I'm scratching the Baja 5SC SS off my list now for sure.

HPI is releasing their 4x4 5T today as well..apparently it's electric though.

From HPI I'm more interested in a Gas powered Savage or whatever the teaser on their hompage is refering to.

Plus they have yet to release a 4x4 SCT, a Savage SCT would be an interesting development (and it would have the heft of a SCTE for the added weight benefit). That could be an interesting platform if done well. Or they could see about a 4x4 Blitz (at least in name) Do we think anyone at HPI has the racing know how to get it done?

I don't know how deep into racing they are. They seem to teeter back and forth between bashing and racing, but leaning more on the bashing side.

I'm sure Hot Bodies have the right people to get the job done when it comes to racing stuff. Hara racing 4x4 SC would be a blast to watch!

Can one buy just the diff o-rings and possibly the diff gasket for the SCTE? Best I could find on amain is part number B3568 which has the o-rings, gasket and pins for one diff. Cost ~$5. With the 8ight you can buy just the o-rings and gaskets for all 3 diffs for ~$5.
