Shouldn't they be the same as the 8ight? Or I could be wrong.

The ten diffs are slightly smaller so the 8ight stuff does not work.

Thanks for the heads up! Just in general, what parts from the 8ight work with the SCTE? So I know when I go to the LHS looking for parts.

Screws............

I am not sure anything else really transfers. All the ten parts are shrunk a little from the 8ight platform. There may be something else but I can't think of it right now.

Yes the 8ight turnbuckles work and I believe rod ends. Really not much though.

I'm new to the electric off road RC world and I have a scte that has yet to see a motor or esc, my LHS has one of Losi's Xcelorin 1/8 scale 2100kv motor and esc, I have no plans for racing or anything like that just miscellaneous bashing and running but I am looking to reach a speed of ~45mph-50mph. Would this motor and esc be a good choice? or would I be better of going with a mamba max pro SCT?

That ESC is rated for only 3-5S so you have to run a 3S minimum. I am also not sure that motor has screw holes for the 3mm screws needed for the SCTE. Some 8th scale motors have 3mm and 4mm hole patterns. I believe the Losi motors are 4mm only. You would have to do some modifications to get the motor in.

Other then that the 2100 on 3S should really move this truck but not sure it is worth the effort to get it in.

I'm tempted to pull the trigger from there, but I think I'm going to wait for my BO on amain. They should get it within the next week.

I'd like to get some feedback on it from here too, like if I need different/shorter screws, etc or if it's basically just going to be a transfer from one chassis to the other.
