Ive also found i like more pack when i run the bigger battery. I like drilled 5's with 27.5 pink spring, 2- inside in the rear.
Thanks for the suggestion. Indeed the indoor track here in Dallas is constantly around the 90's in this fantastic summer heat. I'll try upping the oil front and rear +5 weight and go from there before playing with different spring rates.

I have never had problems with the Losi foams. They work fine.

What type of track are you running on? There is more that goes into foam selection then just weather the track is indoor or outdoor.

TLR 22 is a pain in the ass.
You have to run funky batteries.
The Team Losi XXX-CR was and is a better car.
The Associated B4.1 is even better than that.
If you drive a 22 long enough, you start dreaming about a B4.
This is unlikely to change any time soon.

There are a lot of technical reasons for this, but I think Losi should re-release the XXX-CR and go from there, because it was just better.
Not sure exactly what your issue was with the car but myself and a good dozen other guys around the state where I race have been running the car with great success. The car is very smooth, great through rough sections, has great steering, and rotates very well!! I have been running coreys setup which is on the TLR site and can't find anything I would want to change. I like to tinker, so I will change one thing, try it and always end up going back to his setup. The car just works well on all different types of tracks. I would suggest to anyone new to try the same thing. I have talked with corey and a couple other local TLR guys numerous times over the last few weeks and I can't tell you how helpfull he has been. Instead of getting on the thread and wishing for a new xxx cr, try asking for some help from someone. There are numerous losi guys on this thread that have always returned any pm's with questions that I have had. Again, just my opinion.

Rear Losi foams work good in the front. AKA inserts are kickass for the rear.

The car with the shorty pack is the 22. The car with the saddle packs is the C4.1 conversion for the B4.

Default Tuning Advise

Best tuning advise I ever got: "Set the car up for YOUR driving style at the track your on."

+1!

It's frustrating when people bad mouth a car quite possibly they have no clue what they are doing with it.

But that is coming from me, I know what changes to make if a car isn't doing what I want it to. More steering, less steering, the 22 really does it all, and it does it quite well.

I can understand it on the other end of the spectrum too, if your someone with out the techinical know how to change the car to the track your on, then ask someone who does. Any fast driver should be able to help you.

The first one that says RC10 all over it is a C4.1; I know. The one I'm referencing that says TLR and Twenty Two all over it is a 22. I understand what you meant.
