TLR 22 Racing Buggy Thread

Yep, I've saved a couple of runs when I'd hear the diff slip on a warm up lap and just nudge the diff 1/4 turn.
FYI on the metric thing, 2.5mm is exactly the same size as 5/64". I have had a Thorp wrench in this size for 20 years that I didn't start using a lot until beggining with 1/8 buggy (metric).

Oh yeah, that's right. 5/64=2mm, not 2.5mm. Sorry..

I didn't make up the excuse I just commented on it. Read back a few pages and you'll see a post from someone that was at the race and made that comment.
So your saying that Dustin didn't deserve to win? Ryan is running a car that he has had years and years to figure out how a set up will work on his B4-4.1, wile Dustin and Matt had weeks to figure out theirs. When they figure out the 22, what will be the excuses then?

Fact - Dustin was the fastest 2wd racer at the Spektrum race. He TQ'd on the Ifmar points system, then won A1 and A2 and sat out of A3. The excuse that the "locals" (Chad Due is a full factory AE driver and a recent top-10 finisher at Natioals) "raced" Cav is lame, they and Cav would have raced Dustin too if they were able to catch him. This was a dominant win.
