I did indeed. Not on purpose though. I ordered the right item but was sent the rear threaded pins instead. Just wasn't paying attention when I opened them.

Cant wait to run my car this weekend !!Car is very easy to drive and I am new to 1/10 buggy so that should say something bout this 22! I bought this as a roller and switched it from mid to rear motor and it works very good on our outdoor track (when it has enough water lol) Dont even know what fluid is in the shocks Etc. Soft Holeshots in the rear and pre scrubbed Losi ribs up front..Darn fun to drive .Really feels like your racing a model car instead of running a small go kart that you can`t sit in LOL ..Love it!

running inbetween 22-24 84 with novak 7.5 ballistic yada yada and an lrp sxx stock spec v2. i find the car easiest to drive with the 22/84 which is my current gearing and im also running on med grip mainly to low grip at times

Nice, i like mine, but use a dap of loc-tite, i lost a nut once lol.
I had a similar mistake got a 3.5 hrc instead of the lrc that i ordered and so they fixed the problem let me keep the hrc as well and now all i run is the hrc block

They seem to be extremely popular these cars, think Losi really pulled something off with this car.

You will see why its so popular once you are in the processes of building it and finally debuting it at your track!!! let us know how it goes and feel free to ask anything partna!!!

Thanks, will do will do. There sure is alot of helpful info at the start of this thread aswell so thats nice.
Will prob start with the rearmotor config and go from there.

Is there any optionparts thats nice to have or is it good to go as it is? Like springs and pistons for the shocks and stuff like that.

AE diff bolt and nut and a B-fast diff rebuild kit. The car is painfully durable. The only thing i have ever broken on mine, is a bent turnbuckle. I promptly swapped them out for lunsfords, but the stock ones are descent. The only other thing not factory on mine, is as i stated above, the diff bolt, nut, diff balls, and thrust balls.

Default 22

We race on a nice outdoor dirt track. Very smooth and run damp with a nice dust layer on top. Best tires so far are DD's with a proline rib or carver front. RB5's are king so far with good steering and foward bite. This is not your uber high grip clay, its low grip thats very consistent.

I'm thinking about trying Corey's setup for a start but the 22's I've seen look like stiff fish with very little grip. Very stable in the high speed section when loaded up but a real bear to keep in throttle on the low speed sections.

Thinking about 1mm limiter on front shock and 2deg rear camber, hubs foward, white rear spring. Any suggestions would be nice. I really dont want to lay down the 400 for a new RB5.

Dumb question..... just rebuilding my diff and the instructions say that the screw is to face the drivers side in rear motor configuration? Does this mean the end of the screw or the area where you install the hex driver to adjust it?

Thanks

It really doesnt matter which side you put it on, its just ease of convenience to have the adjustment side on the drivers side (in rear motor)...especially if you have the tlr diff adjustment tool.

Running open 2wd buggy for the first time this weekend. I ran stock back in 2002, so I should be fine

Track is outdoor and 10th scale, so it should be fun. No expectations, just looking to enjoy the race. Haven't raced anything in 3 years.
