Man do not settle for something else, you will always wish you had gone with the RB8be. I own the Hyper 9e and Rc8be and the Rc8be is buggy I always go to! Just better balanced, steering is over the top I can turn in on anybody on the track except other 8be's
Just wait you will be rewarded greatly

I'd like to see some photos of finished bodies also. I'll be trying my first paint job when I get mine to see how it turns out. If I mess it up too bad I'll be getting another body and sending it off to the pros.
PS.
Will these wheels and tires work together on this truck? I can't tell how to determine which wheels will work with these tires since the measurements seem to be off by a bit.

i just finished building the roller portion of mine and have a quick question. The front arms don't have near the range of travel that the rear ones have. Is this normal? My droop screws are all the way up, so they're not blocking anything. I can't figure out if something is binding the front of if that is how it is supposed to be.

I'm an LRP junkie as well and for my 1/8 buggy I stayed away from the whole SPX motor combo ordeal. Have heard nothing but bad things from that system. Also find it interesting that Associated it including the Castle systems in their SC8e RTR's...

Wow...That's all I can say about this buggy. The build itself was a pleasure and it is awesome to drive.
Current set-up:
mmpro esc
2200kv motor
5400 35c 4s Lipo
XP digital servo
25 wt oil in front and rear shocks
5000 in all 3 diffs
I've driven it twice now since building it last Thursday...Both times have been on a small indoor track but it's still a blast.

For the guys who have received their kits...have you noticed the chassis? Seems like its the RTR chassis and not the RC8B chassis with the AE milled in it? Does anyone know if those chassis are different grades of aluminum?

Apparently these are a dime a dozen at the moment. A buddy of mine apparently just got the last one from either stormer or amain ( i forget ).
Sweet lookin buggy though! I would've ordered one of these if I didn't end up getting a Ve8.
