That's what I was wondering if he was talking about the top plate. And I think the grid mount is more functional. This is mine.

Gregg, what screw are you using to secure the tie rod to the servo horn?

I too think it has this uglynice look of a stealth bomber The white wheels looks good on it! How are the tires keeping up? How many packs have you run through them?

Oh, do send your stock body to me if you don't want it

with my track record of sc8e bodies, i will keep the stock one as i will probably destroy this body on the 1st track day.

I do like that alum grid plate, but i have no issues with the AE motor mount (Sc8e and RC8e) so for now ill save the $60 and buy 2 more batteries =D

About the tires, they were not new when i put them on, as i use them on my sc8e for bashing on street. Ive probably ran 10 packs through them on the sc8e, and the front began to show some signs of wear. Ive ran 4 packs through them on the rc8be, and one of the front wheels looks like it might be near the end of it's life.

For the next set of on road tires, im debating white wheels and a white wing, or black wheels and the black wing =P

I picked up a pair of white dish wheels and calibers mounted, as well as the holeshots and stock white dish that came with the kit, so maybe a white wing is needed...

When I did mine, all I had was 19.5 mm measured from end to end. But a 15mm M3 would fit perfectly. I measured it.

How do u like your sc8e? I'm real jealous, I want one of those badly! Seems like the perfect RC car to use as a basher with the bumpers and roll cage. What's great is that you can throw on some 1/8 buggy tires and race it too!

Cool, just wanted to make sure, that's all I want is something nice and clean. 100mm sensor wire is definitely a must. Thanks!

Added the Associated 100mm wire to the cart with my Reedy battery at tower.

That depends on what you are referring too. Sensored or non sensored setup? In 1/8th scale the Tekin is smoother being sensored and the motor magnet is a lot softer.

And on a side note Christina Aguilera just butchered the National Anthem during the Super Bowl!
