I buy kits online, and parts at lhs. The lhs doesn't make hardly any money on kits, the parts and tires are the bread-n-butter for every hobby shop I have spoken to. You can take the $40 you save buying that kit online, spend it on parts/tires in the lhs and they will make a larger profit and you will have more to show for it. Win-win.

I have a problem it's like my car doesn't want to go off the start but once it gets going it is good. It only happens when on the track I can hold it up and it will start up perfectly no delay. I was thinking it was my new tekin setup but it's fine when I hold it in the air and gas it. Also maybe because my wheels rounded a little on the hex part but than why would it be fine when it gets going. I was thinking the slipper pads also but why would it be fine when it gets going. Idk I'm lost. Any help would be appreciated.

100 percent positive its the sensor wire.

I agree screwing the wing on is best, but the buggy wing mounts are the body mounts for the truck.

So I guess im gonna fold under peer preasure:lol: and see how the Losi BB springs work. I run brown/green 30/27.5(Losi) and a full stick pack currently. The track is medium to high bite clay. From what I gather from you guys I should start with yellow rears and orange fronts? Im gonna order wht and yellow rears and red and orange fronts to give myself some tunning options but this is a good starting point correct?

Hobby shop cost on a B4 kit is between 200-205. Depending on also if they do a larger volume and shipping cost etc. While most parts are like 50-60% off retail. Most buggy tires are between 6-7 bucks and sell for 12-17. Just food for thought.

If your track has a hobby shop... ALWAYS buy from them!!!!

Here some pics of my new B4.1 WE. Going to paint the body today, still waiting on the esc, servo and hex conversions to come in. I have the Yellow rims and tires that come with the kit up for sale if anyone is interested. ENJOY :sneaky:

the charlie perez setup hints guide says they are a 56 hole, I would assume he is correct?

This is the guide that comes with the AE blank pistons - Id assume that this is correct. Shows #2 is a 55 bit. Ive drilled out #3s with a 55 bit and it gives a little more pack than a standard #2 (as the team guys did at the worlds last year).

Tower Hobbies list B4.1 WE for $249.99 and you can use the $40 off coupon if you are a member. If you are not a member, it only costs $10 for a 1 year membership. So $209.99 and free shipping. Or $219.99 if you have to buy membership also. Best deal out there. Based out of Nevada. Very fast processing and shipping.

or $209.99 if you can get people to give up the codes. cause we all know people love to give them up

I know its the wire because the same thing happened to me. It would spin fine with throttle holding it off the ground but as soon as i placed it on the ground it would cog. Another pro driver said it was the cable. So i checked it and found it had come loose. The same thing then happened to a buddy but his wire was bad. It looked fine, no damage, but with a new wire it ran fine. There is only one way to plug in the connector. Make sure you didnt force it in the wrong way. Why this happens, no idea.

then why does it seem like everyone that one thread asking for them pops up once a month?

Also it is $219.99 right now without the codes, because of other codes until the 31st.

also is anyone else having problems with quick reply and edit? it auto logs me out when i try to do it.

Because they are all most likely club members, and some people get the new codes before others..........

Or they might have deleted the email tower sends you with the new codes and they need them again...........
