I have an e b4.1 and I think he little bend in the curves. I need help to put the car to bend more. What should I do for him bend over?
someone can tell me a setting to improve? I'm using the default ...

hey guys, just got into the 2wd buggies with a F.T. B4.1 ran it for the first time last night at our local club race and loved it. but i would like to pick you guys brains about some adjustments needed. i would like to know where to start adjusting to get more on power steering, without giving up rear grip. i added 3/4 oz of weight up front at servo area, and it didnt seem to help much. where do i start? i also picked up the front big bore shock set last night, will get the rears as soon as i can afford them. but what is a good oil/spring setup? i have 25, 30, 35, 40 weight oils on hand. have to buy spring kits yet also.thanks

Anyone still running the 4.1 or have you switched to the B5? I don't get out to run my kits as often as I would like so I haven't made the leap to the new kit.

If you have made the leap which model B5 did you go with?

I'm leaning towards the rear motor car instead of the MM that everyone seems to be running. Like I said, my driving time is limited so I'm thinking the adjustment to the handling of the B5R would be less than the B5M for someone like me.

To me the switch to the b5m wasn't that hard to adjust. Before i switched i ran my b4.2 with the shorty forward esc behind the battery inline the hubs spaced towards the rear and a smaller spur to move the motor forward. It acted more like a mm and made it easier to adjust to the b5m.

I am new to rc racing but, i as well have a b4.1 and have done a lot of research but to not much avail. Seems everyone switched to the b4.2 not that i notice a difference other than some little things. But I added some weight to the rear in those little triangle spaces on the rear of the chassis. Also i switch springs to white in rear and green up front, also tire choice is key at whatever track you run at, so see what everyone else is running. For oil I'm running 32 or 32.5 can't remember which one they sell on the rear and 27.5 up front. Hope it helps a little also I swapped the plastic steering servo for the blue aluminum.

Just in case someone else comes across this thread like I did. The GT2 rear hubs are meant to be +1.5° hubs on a GT2. These are marked for left and right sides. When you mount them on a B4.1 you actually mount left on the right and right on the left, they fit just like the factory hubs and have a larger outer bearing as a bonus. This gives you -1.5° toe.

Did you ever try a split front caster. There are three angles that associated makes 20°, 25° and 30°. I am thinking of trying 20° on the left and 25° on the right. From the reading I have done the split is supposed to make the car need less steering so you scrub off less speed in the turns.
