What if any are most of you using for weights on the Worlds not counting the balast since its already on?

On another subject. This was my second outing with the car. Only issue is in real bumpy sections it was bouncing around really bad instead or taking them smoothe. What can I do to help smoothe it out? Im running the Worlds setup outdoors on high bite clay 30wt brown fronts, 25wt green rear. Maybe stand the shocks up a little?

How much rebound in your shocks?

Are you using bleeder screw caps?

Try going down 1/2 weight in the oil, front and back and unscrew your rear shock eyelets 2 turns(you want maybe 1-2 threads showing). Make sure you have 2 limiters internally as well. Should help your buggy jumping around to much. Are you running the 8+ chassis?

Try bleeding your shocks this way and see if it helps...

With the shock body vertical and the shock shaft fully extended, make sure there is a slight bulge of shock fluid higher than the edge of the top of the shock body (add no oil to the caps). Install the cap sans bleeder screw. Install the shock rod end, and the lower spring cup (no spring). Push the shock shaft into the shock body slowly, until the spring perch bottoms out on the shock body. Wipe away bled oil. Install the bleeder screw. Pull the shock shaft down. Install the spring. Install the shocks. Set ride height (and all the usual stuff) and see if that helps any.

Durango parts are easier to get than Losi????? There is a first time for everything I guess.

Not sure if they will fit but if you can get your hands on them give it a shot and let us know

Hi,

I'm currently using the Durango springs and cups, with the Ghea 2070 collars on my B4.1 & B44.1

The Durango cups do work with the stock AE shock ends. But there are a little loose on the shock end. I'll put something on the shock end to make it a better fit.

MiCk B. :-)

My b4.1 worlds is pushing alittle bit. Track is hard pack, wet, blue groove, outdoor. Weight is in the usual places. I've got losi 32.5 wt in the front (inside tower, outside arm, #2 piston) and losi 27.5 wt in the back (inside tower, inside arm, #2 piston). To fix this problem I would want to go to a lighter wt in the front, correct?

Where are you pushing, corner entry or corner exit? I'm gonna guess exit. If so, you might try additional limiters in the front shocks. I know this will sound crazy but 25 or 20 degree caster blocks have more exit steering as well. Loosening the diff a bit helps too as long as you aren't barkin' the thing. You could try to decrease the rear roll stiffness or increase the front as well to more firmly plant the outside front tire on the track.

It's exiting. Is a really slow sweeping cornor similar to the bottom half of a small figure 8. I could try going back to 25 degree caster blocks. Hadn't thought of that. I might be able to decrease rear roll stiffness as well, but if i increase it in the front it makes the buggy feel really twitchy.. Thanks for the response!
