Oh ok sweet, so also I have been debating the worlds car thing.. I have no issues with the non threaded shocks so I dont think that really changes any performance besides quick adjustment right?

Also the 8mm chassis is only $50 which is no biggy so my question is what else is different bewteen the two besides the shocks and the chassis, ball diff, and titan turnbuckles?

There's a long list of differences if you have a RTR compared to a worlds car! Buy a worlds car for 250 sell the old roller for like 80... Brand new way better car for 170!!!! I do it every year or more.

I broke two rear chassis plates over the weekend, one in my T4 and one in my kids T4. Has anyone tried one of these in their B4?

Its certainly a pain to replace one of these but I don't want to exchange a broken chassis plate for a bunch of broken rear arms or bent hinge pins.

Maybe boil a plastic one so it's softer and less likely to break? i've never broken one, replaced it due to age but thats it. Being plastic and how it's easy to bend, and the hinge pin holes get ovaled when trying different toe blocks i replaced it for peace of mind that i have correct geometry. I would stay away from the aluminum one for the reasons you gave

I've never had an issue with the rear chassis plate and only replace them when they start to get a little sloppy. I would just call it a weird fluke, and move on with another plastic one. Like you said, I would rather replace that than have to replace arm, hinge pins, chassis or have to replace the aluminum one when it gets sloppy.

Mine wasn't really a fluke. Some wonderful individual kicked my car off the elevated section of our track and it fell backwards landing straight down on the rear left tire. It ripped the hinge pin out of the chassis plate. My son's had fluke written all over it. He actually snapped the chassis plate towards the front of the transmission opening and bent both of the rear Ti camber links. He can't really give me an adequate explanation of how this happened. I'll stick with the dirt cheap AE piece and have a couple extras on hand.

Get the World Edition, You will love it. I convert my b4.1 ft. It handles way better. Alot is different from the Rtr.

Saturday's local trophy race. Team Associated drivers Mike Gay, Gunnarr Rieck, and Andy Castelini had everyone on lock down finishing 1,2,3 (but necessarily in that order )

Track is Bumps and Jumps raceway in Harrisburg PA
