Thanks!
I run a 1258 in both a B4.1 and SC10, no spacers, Futaba arm. No problems.

Has anyone experimented with the shorty lipo for classes such as 17.5 buggy where the lighter weight might be more ideal?

Had a conversation with couple of guys about the shorty because I noticed alot of the Cali boys already bailing on them.

shorty pack = low bite track
std pack / wolfpack = high bite track

reason behind it is the shorty pack reduces the pendulam effect which kills you on slippery tracks. Conversely it's harder to drive on high bite tracks for the same reason (reacts alot quicker). I'm probably going to get one because out here in NJ, the tracks are built for 8th scales so they are rarely high bite... usually they are high concentration of land mines

Why are you giving the wolf pack a nod?

I can see the wolf packs being good in mod but wouldn't the higher c rating of the reedy packs be better for a 13.5/17.5 no boost class?

Here is my cut down T4 chassis... Gonna run it as a B4 this weekend. I cut a total of 1 inch off of the width and braced it with .032" titanium. no weight gain at all. I am letting the epoxy set-up for a day or so. I am going to run the ESC in the battery compartment and the reciever in its normal location.
