Anyone run losi silver springs up front with pink in the rear? I run on a medium/high bite indoor red clay. I ran them a while back and it felt too twitchy and ass happy, but going to yellow rears the rear end is too hooked up making the car push. Is it normal to take corners WOT with the wheel fully turned one direction and letting off the gas a little at the apex(not a tight corner) so you don't push wide and tap the wall? Seems to be my issue

A post at Thursday at 10:27AM doesn't even exist and the only posters around that time were litljohn and mxracer I don't understand what's so hard about posting a link. This forum likes to have 800 page threads which consist of 90% bullshit, a horrible search function and the least helpful members ever, I don't understand why my LHS likes it......

I found him through search. Instead of making others feel like newbs maybe you should go talk to an optometrist.

Default V2 threaded shocks

Hey all, i just bought the threaded shock body conversion kit for my b4.1 RTR and I can't figure out where both o-rings go. I have a large and a small. Im assuming one goes in the shock cap but where does the other one go? Any help would be appreciated. The o-ring I am refering to arent the red o-rings, I believe they are part #6469 and #7416. The manual doesn't help to figure out which is which. They are black, one is about .5" diameter, the other .375" diameter.

They go in the shock collars that screw onto the threaded body. You will see a little grove that they slip into. They are used to help keep the shock collar in place.

I believe the larger one you have is the one that goes in the threaded spring adjuster to keep it from moving on the shock body.

It was yesterday at 10:27 Arizona time. Your profile does not show your location, I could guess New York but?????

Sorry to sound so rude but the fact is that there are 800 pages in this thread because people ask the same question so many times. The topic of Losi springs has been discussed in detail for the past 2-3 weeks (maybe longer). Again sorry to be rude, just wish people would use the search function more often

Low ride height could cause it to bottom out on compression before lift off causing it to jump crazy. Throttle input can cause it to jump crazy. A bind in suspension or drive train can cause it to jump crazy. Change one thing at a time till you find it.

By my page counter you posted who is Bob Barry on page 769 but one page back on 768 Bob Barry posted 3 consecutive times. You really went through the lasts few pages.

There's a ton of great info here that others will be glad to help with but you gotta at least try. No one here will hand hold you.

Diesel... we dont have a problem helping people at all. But in your case, we know you didnt take the time to search OR reading back in the thread.

No one says you gotta read all 800 pages. But maybe you should read some of the BS there... you wont be so uptight if ya do.

I believe you may be out of balance with your springs...the silver fronts are indeed stiff, where the yellow rears are pretty soft...maybe try some orange fronts with the yellow rears perhaps? Maybe even red fronts.

No buggy turns well at WOT, IMO. yellow/silver works for me but I'm gonna try orange fronts. Reds are too soft for me and make the car snappy loose at off power turn in.

At the same time I've seen guys run pink rear with red fronts and run well so either way you need to find what works for you.

Does anyone know if FT ASC3948 on road shock collars will work on the ASC7479 b4.1 threaded shock bodies? My order came with bad o-rings and all my LHS had was ASC3948. Before I open them up and lose the ability to return them I was hoping someone might know.

Thank You!

I should have mentioned i'm running 17.5 stock class. With the yellow rears it just has too much grip and i find myself messing with camber links, wing size(i run a cut down wing), and ride height to get more steering. Plus with yellow rear after about 3-4min the car doesn't have the oomph to make the big double, with pink rears i can overshoot that double by 3ft every time if i want to, even on a low battery. I went to inline axles up front also which might come off after more testing idk. Thanks for the input, i'm going to stick with these springs(maybe go softer front idk yet) for the whole day so i'm not chasing my tail too much
