In regard to having to sell off old t4 chassis stock, for some reason I have a feeling that wont take long at this rate. Is there an advantage to new vs old designs?

Has anyone tried this out on a smaller track yet? If so, is the stability more beneficial than the agility of the stock wheelbase?

If I give this a shot, I've considered doing some carbon plates to fill out the entire side areas with cutouts for the electronics . I know the vertical areas are where the strength comes in, but I thought it would look cool and with weight being added anyway, I don't see much downside.

If you can't notice that, what can you notice

Other than an EXTREME tire change I can't think of anything more noticeable than having the wing on vs. off....

Heres my Long 4 finished...

Raced it this weekend, but after a week or so off not driving a buggy,i was a little rusty...Big outdoor track, slight bluegoove...

Cased it into the back of our crossover downramp a few times, lawn darted it into our rythmn section a few times too...still in one bit

Puts the power down too well.....the 7.5 felt lazy,slow.....
Still steers very well...might check ride heights and frontend, just needs a little extra from the front...maybe 10 grams that i removed may do it...
Jumps very well...

These are all things the Short 4 did well anyway,so im waiting till this wekend to make final judgment on it.....

Bugle boy body fits,if not trimmed to the short length already......Only non cab forward body that does at the moment

I race my B4.1L at an indoor track that's on the small size, and the car still has lots of steering and it turns on a dime, what it does better for me, it handles the jumps better and it's smooth over the rutty sections of the track...

Does anybody know where to get these trick little black weights? The AE weights are too big to fit in tight spaces.

They just pain the weights to blend them into the chassis. The small weights can be found at http://blackbeardrc.com/store/index....75f602d6cb72ca

I find the sharpie makes the weights look purple. I prefer to just hit them with some black spray paint.

Just installed a LRP SXX v2 ESC . Running a Novak 13.5 turn currently . I have the Mode 2 toque/feel set at 7 and the Mode 3 boost set at 7 . What gearing would be good for a medium to large sized indoor clay track ? OCRC . I have 77 - 30 curently .

What about geaing with a 17.5 turn ?
What about gearing with a 8.5 turn ?

Going to check out the LRP website to see if they have any recomendations .

Man , the extended chasis is hot right now . As soon as they are available for sale somewhere , I am all over it . ?

Is their an optional front bumper for this buggy ? Most guys have some weight added to the front of the buggy . How about an alluminum front bumper/skid plate ? Or an alluminum front bulkhead/pivot pin mount ?

I ran 75/30 on my 13.5 with 30deg boost. I will be running an 81T spur on my 10.5 with a 23T, 22 or 21 if it temps too high.

speaking of wings... Are there any molded wings for b4.1? Ive seen like carbon or composite wings for other buggies (not sure if they were nitro???)
What about front wings, any difference?
