I saw on one of the setup sheets that Cav ran 55's drilled with a 55 bit in the rear shocks. I would imagine the BB's would be released after the Nationals in August.

those were #3 pistons drilled to 55's.

Most of us running losi pistons that I am aware of are running 56s all around.

I am surprised by the number of AE drives listing losi pistons and spring on their setup sheets. I wonder if they had to get the go ahead from AE before using visible competitor parts.

I think they did. Brent the team manager travels with them pretty much everywhere.

#1 thing they want you to see is their driver and car on the podium. If you see some losi springs on a winning B4.1, you aren't gonna buy a Losi 22 because of the better springs. You would be shocked how many parts come off the top level drivers cars before podium pics and magazine pics. You see it happen all the time at the biggest events.

Doubtful

the losi pistons added more pack and were rounded nicer then stock...

i personally think the stock ft 4.1 was the and still is the best car out...all this new stuff killed it for me almost...to much ...

i asked a question about what is the ae piston that is equal to the losi 56 and i have seen everything ppl post things that never answered the question that what was originally asked, can i get an answer if that is ok?

No such thing , Ae is a 2 hole piston and smaller diameter then the 3 hole losi....

Even if you drill 3 holes in the Ae the same size as the 56 , it will have less pack then the losi due to the losi fitting tighter inside the Ae shock body ....

Summery

The losi 56 has a little extra pack , brings less chassis slap on hard landings but will cost you a little traction ..

The losi 56 works best on layouts with big jumps ...
