Anyone have an alternative to these bushings that go into the steering rack?

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ring-Set-B4-T4

I've got about 3 sets of racks I am trying to put together so I can use them in future builds. I really don't want to buy new complete racks if I don't have to.

Buy the avid bearing kit, it has all the bearings needed for the b4.1. I assume you have the rtr since you said bushing... For $1, upgrade.

That's just about perfect for Barcodes. I absolutely hate them with full tread. Same goes for my BK's and just about everything else. They feel too squirmy and inconsistent before they're properly worn in.

Are you running on hard packed clay? Indoors or out?

Indoors clay/dirt mix.

Which "hex" wheels fit the B4.1 with the same offset as the stock wheels? Losi? I would most likely use the Avid Hex Conversion.

Per DE Racing 22 rear wheels will fit in the rear

Offset for the Losi rears are the same. The fronts are different.

Ok, so RB5, Losi 22, JC, AVID and Proline all makes wheels what will fit with the same front and rear stock offsets?

I would assume so. If they list it to fit the B4. I wouldn't see a reason they have a different offset unless they said it was. Kind of like the Hazard rims. +3mm

Wildcat1971 06-13-2012 10:38 AM

ok, I was just curious because AE makes the wheel hexes for the conversion. They are plastic and look to be way thinner than the JC or Avid alum hexes. And I dont know for sure if the JC and Avid have different thicknesses, thus affecting offsets....Someone told me once the Proline hex/wheels were different than the jc/hex and wheel combos, with different offsets do to the thickness of the hexes. That s why I asked.
