Thank you... so it doesnt really matter? Just use the same on both sides?
Just use the same on both sides and you should be good. It's just a tuning option to compromise middle hole not enough and out side too much. Then the B set of holes might be perfect. |

Check out this link and select one of the kits that have the V2 shocks. T4.1, B4.1, or SC10. You will see the "factory team" manual. Download and view. |

17.5 gear ratio
Hey guys
Can someone suggest a good gear ratio for a b4.1 on a medium size dirt track with: Speed passion3.0- 17.5 turn and Tekin RS PRO, without boost/timing? and a good starting point with boost and timing advanced? :tire::tire::) |

I just bought a B4 and wonder if someone can point me toward a really good setup for packed clay, rough, sometimes dusty, low/med traction. I have searched around and have not had much luck.
I havent seen much mention of the swaybar....is it necessary or needed? Thanks! http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/ca...assic_2009.pdf |
T4.1 build
Finally got my T4.1 the other day, so far the build seems to be flawless. Funny, directions say nothing about grease on the trans gears? all I have left is the shocks. I noticed 5 limiters in front shocks? Whats evrybody running for indoor clay shock set-ups?

Yeah I figured a little black grease can't hurt, honestly this is the first kit I've built from scratch since the old rc10 gold pan! jeez that musta been a good 15 or so yrs ago! anyway thanks for your help, can't wait to hit the track with this thing.

Very few kits tell you to grease the tranny gears but I always use a but of AE black grease on all of them.

Stealth lube works best, or Aero Car super gear lube.

Might be weird but I've always had really really good luck with AE Green Slime. I use it in my B4.1/T4.1/B44.1/SC10 transmissions and they all are extremely free and long lasting.
You can also try this I've using it with great results on all my 1/8th stuff. It should work just as good in 1/10th. |
