The SCR's use metric size screws and if you look at the thread they are very fine. Now on the SC, at least the ones that I have had and worked on, they use a course thread pitch or self tapping. Something like this.

I run D3.5 17.5 0 timing no boost. 75/26-27. temps are 115. A FDR of 7.5 is a good starting point. If your going to boost heavy I would go 23 or so on the pinion

Mine is the money as well. Love my SP. Sure anxious to see what new SCT will be but I also run the RB6. See no reason to get rid of my SP. Very durable. Awesome chassis.

Default Antenna placement

I've been out too the hobby for a while and am putting the finishing touches on my SCR and have a quick question about placement of the antenna for the 2.4 Ghz receiver. Can you keep the antenna of the receiver under the body? I would rather not put another hole in the body. Could I just shorten the antenna tube (leaving the antenna itself its original length of course) so it doesn't stick out of the body without negatively effecting signal strength?

I'm using a Futaba R2104GF receiver.

I want to get this sucker done so I can race it for the first time.
