Without reading through the entire thread... what are the pinion recommendations for 17.5brushless motor.. (stock class)?

Also a good setup for a tight indoor clay track... it's generally pretty good traction.

Finally is there any tips ect. on the build for this car?

WOT if the spur gear you used is too skinny, the inside of slipper plates will hit each other and not clamp down on the pads.

you can start with 32/72

download the manual from the durango site, the printed version has mistakes in it.

http://www.petitrc.com/setup/durango...ngoDEX210.html
has all types of build tips & setups.

Well ya gotta love those that don't search for stuff first. Its not hard and then we wouldn't get the same questions over and over again. You defo don't have to read the whole thread maybe just the last 5-10 pages

Just wait there will be someone asking a question very soon about what hop ups/upgrades you need to get and what ball cups to swap out

Reading the previous 10-20 pages would probably answer most of the questions that come up

Rant over

I got so sick of answering Big Bore spring questions in the 4.1 thread last winter that I made a post that explained everything, listed part numbers, pros and cons.... I then put that in my signature. People were still asking...

Keep in mind that there may be many well educated males, with disposable income, between the ages of 25 and 45 who get it, but i am sure that a lot of people on here are kids or retired folks who just got their first computer a year ago and use AOL for their email. But it's still frustrating.

I purchased the ti-nitrate shock shafts part #TDR330332 rear. While installing the rear I realized they are 3mm shorter (52mm) than stock 55mm. They are listed as an option part. Is this a recommended upgrade? I already built the rears so I am committed. But would like to know what I am getting into.

I have the black ones, cause well, you know what they say, but they are shorter as well - I just unscrewed the shock ends a few turns to make up for the difference on the rears where I like a lot of droop.

They are an upgrade, the stock shafts are in fact too long. The shock body doesn't even have enough uptravel for the shorter 52mm shafts which is why I run two of those shock stoppers for the rear.
