What is the type/size of the connectors on esc? Or just soldering tabs?

I would imagine its not already soldered, 4mm bullets go into the esc and its bare on the battery side so you can put your own on there I belive. I am not sure if you get female plugs unless you get a combo.

I say get the better 1 with the LCD screen. For like $10 buks more you get that 1, its better than the cheaper 1 because when HW gives out updates in the software you can get it to your esc with that 1. With the cheaper 1 your limited to only being able to change the setting that are there from the factory. I asked this same question a week or 2 ago.

Nope, mine came ready to go,even had a deans knockoff connector on for the battery, wired in series for 2 batteries.Had the factory wrapping and seal on the box as well so it wasn't done by the seller.I will get pics later when I get home of how it came.

Thats really weird, only because I saw a add o what ever and it showed the esc with the plugs in it no wire soldered to them wires wrapped up and of course the plug and switch wrapped up or whatever together. No bootleg Deans or nothing. I have to say 1 thing I dont like is that metal ring that either the switch or reciever wire is wrapped around. I seen it on chargers, but never esc's before except HW ones. Its not going to stop me from getting 1 though, I will take the ring off feed the wire to the redio ox or something and put it back on inside LOL.

LOL,ya mine came with the magic ring too,I have no idea what it does so I just let it be.This add here on fleabay shows exactly how it comes,I think they photoshopped the deans connectors off for legal reasons though. This ones the 150 but they come the same.

If it comes with Deans it could be a knockoff...

Does it come with the male bullets for whatever motor you use? Deans most likely would be a bootleg, thats what China does though. I am not mad at them for these esc's though LOL.

The 3 wires off of the esc come with 4mm female bullets and the 3 off the motor have the 4mm male bullets all soldered and heat shrunk ready to go.I think what they are trying to do is get rid of any warranty claims from people soldering there own wires onto the esc and getting it to hot, just a thought.I could care less that they did all the work because they did a pretty good job on all the connections.

The ring on the RX wire is to suppress/minimize ElectroMagnetic Inference (EMI). While I don't think you'll notice a difference, I don't think it's worth the effort to remove it. And if your environment or vehicle is particularly noisy, it may be benificial.

RC-Fans just shipped mine this morning!! I ordered two of the 150a&2000kv combos. I know the motors are 4 pole but not sure on the slots I'll pop one when they come in and post.
