Depends on how many cells your running

Safe is 3.3V per Lipos cell.

So if 2s lipo 6.6v, 3s 9.9v

You can use the 80amp combo with the weight of the Emaxx and still have too much power but which ever you want.

See the emaxx is not even 8th scale its 10th, alittle bigger than some others. The 2000 is a bigger motor than the 2250. The 2250 has higher KV but the 2000 has way more torque. Personally if you are only going to use 3-4s get the 80amp with the 2250. The 2000 on 3S will perform but not sure if it will how you want it to. The 2250 will be faster on 3s because of the higher KV. You will just have to gear it up alittle but if you go 4s you will be golden. Yes these esc can handle hotter motors.

Doesn't the Xerun 150A support both Sensored and Sensorless? It says so on their site?

You have to look in the paperwork that came with the esc and if you dont have it look at HW's site for the manual. With brushless there is abc=3 wires brushed there is 2 + and -, you have to find out which of the letters are + and -. My guess would be A and C.
