If they can get these controllers down to a small & light package they should be top notch. The ez run controllers are great in performance & big in size and weight.

Did you see what this thread was about the Xerun is the new smaller version of the ezrun 80 and 150. I had a 80 but it had a bad board and it was huge it wouldnt never fit in my Ve8 LOL. The Xeruns do fit, alittle snug but they fit. Someone said using sensor wires could br difficult but I will make it work. I looked and got a few different measurments on them length and width wise. Can someone with calipers give us a true measurment? 1 says 55mm by 60mm and 1 says less.

Yeah the new XeRun's are pretty much the same size as a MMM or RX8

Has anyone with the XeRun 80A or 150A ESCs changed the Punch or Timing settings to Zero or near zero?
The previous EZRuns had problems where if either of these parameters were set to zero or close to it, the ESC would burn up. I'd like to know if they resolved that in the XeRuns.
It seems 1Blade1 had his timing set to 0 with no problems, but I'd like to get a few more reported cases that it's ok to do.
Right now, I'm running my EZRun 150A with a Neu-Castle and have the timing at 9.75* (from default 15*). It cogs at low speed, so I'd like to set it lower, but am scared to knowing that quite a few EZRuns had this problem.
Thanks.

I see these at a few places with lots of different prices, where got the 80 esc and the cards the cheapest with shipping? This would be good for everyone to know anyway and the only people who are going to know are the ones who already bought it. You know it could be cheap with crazy priced shipping or vice versa.

Does anyone know why the 80a can't be run on 5-6s? Is it the caps or the bec?

It's a combination of the internal circuitry (usually the FET voltage) and the cap voltage (which are chosen to match the circuitry). I've read the 80A will arm and run on 5s, but you're risking frying the ESC.

malik - maybe we should get a big group buy going or something.

Kinda of curious about the 5s myself. I have 2 of the older ezrun 80a that get ran on nothing but 5s, and havn't given me a problem. Kinda leary on if they changed anything in the new ones. That would be a deal breaker on the new 80's for me.

JSR I am in for a 80 and a card.

Anyone with an esc please if you have digital calipers please take a length and width measurement for me. I have seen a few different descriptions.

I mean I run a MM on 4s all the time and have run it on 5s no prob as well as others that i read on here. Only thing is the bec can't handle 4s and up, or a stout servo on 3s as far as that goes. I like my MM, I just want to try someting else and have some back ups. In the future I am wanting to go 5s all the time however. I know the 150a will do it but I don't like the large ESC's especially after being spoiled with the MM's size. Any other input??

The 80 and 150 are the same size. Which is similar to the MMM and RX8. I just needed a exact measurement on either the 80 or 150 like I said 1 place says 60mmx50mm and 1 says alittle less I forget.
