What wheels fit the SC10 besides the stock wheels?

Dallas Rat 04-20-2009 05:49 PM

:spidey: Ok I also spun a wheel like DHC8GURU.... has this not happened elsewhere? Need more material in the HUB AE :p

Can anyone give me the right lengths/measurements that the front camber and toe links are supposed to be? I've just put my front end together and went by what the manual said and they are no where near the correct length. Thanks for any info guys.

Anyone? Please?

Camber I usually run 1 degree of negative. And a bit of toe out in the front.

9jester9 04-20-2009 06:55 PM

i went by the book and it gives the correct 1:1 ratio picture for the front linkages. i did have to reverse them after putting them on the wrong order but got it sorted out. :tire:
there is one page that had an error on a linkage length, page 12. i think the rear camber turnbuckle has to be longer than shown. either longer or shorter :weird: but it was wrong if i remember correctly.
what battery was powering that novak 8.5? any idea? great video!!!

I met Don from Associated at the r/c show in Pomona California and he told me about the error on page 12, it should be 91mm not 71mm about 3.5" he said. Another pointer he gave me was to run harder foam in the stock tires.

Anyone busting SC10 specific parts, like a wheel in my case. Go back to driving your Slash's. Word is about two to three weeks before the parts are coming in from AE.
I epoxied in my wheel hub and reground the pin slot, hoping it will tie it over till the replacements come in. :(

Finally finished my SC10. Will give it its first big workout tomorrow.

I have spun the slot from just taking the wheel on and off the truck i havent even drove it yet.:flaming: I used the next pin slot and hope that holds up for at least the first few runs this week, I agree the wheels need more material i have never spun any of my B4 wheels.

BuggyKing 04-20-2009 09:13 PM

I run modded bomb foams up front and AKA 1/8th scale foams in the rear.
Works good. Are you guys getting a grinding noise in your diffs?
