I use the B4.1 axle in the front with the button head screw to hold the fronts on. On the rear the nut is really long so I took a 3mm nut and drilled and taped it for the 8/32 axle. This picture does not show but I use the nuts that are covered now. The only problem I have had is that they use a 3/8x5/16 bearing on the out side and it seems to not last long on high bite tracks. I was shimming the bearings so that they had zero slop and believe that was what killed the bearings. Recently I leave the bearing shim out and with a little play now the bearing is lasting a lot longer.

I have RE-built all 4 shocks 3 times now, plus the original assembly. I have not used a rebuild kit, all original orings. I have ZERO leakage.
Im wondering if a lot of people build shocks in haste? I like to just take my time. Also I tighten the caps as much as I can by hand, then cinch it down more with a wrench/screwdriver
I have had 1 shock leak on my 18t, never on my RC10GT or my SC10

I broke a front shock tower. It broke the corner off where the ball stud screwed in. I had to move the rod ends inward because the shop had no towers in stock. I actually noticed more stability this way, so I'll leave it for a while.
I will be buying a stock shock tower, not RPM.

Hey guys, I need a new screw set for my SC10. This one here seems a bit excessive http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXXMP4&P=7
Anybody know where something cheaper/better or am I better off just trying to get the individual screws at a hardware store?

You definitely don't want the RC Screwz stainless junk. Tony's Screws should have a good kit of black oxide screws.
Also if you want to write down which and how many of each screws, you could put in an order with Fastenal.

steel screws with a good tool set. People in my area have used the Tony's
Screw kits with good results.
