Really both entry and exit. I am running suburbs on the front (green). Its a clay track, with medium to low traction most of the time.

Try some enduros up front. I always feel the suburbs make my truck push bad

Default Diff

I had this really bad noise coming from my rtr today. I thought it was the slipper so I tighted it up and the noise got worse until the truck stopped. I figure it was the stock diff. So know I have to replace it. What kind of diff do you recommend, ball or gear, stock or after market.

Tear it apart first and figure out what's wrong. Once you've narrowed that down, the gear diff works fine for a bit of racing and bashing. The ball diff (my personal favorite) is more for racing. Never had issues with the stock AE ball diffs.

I think it is the diff internal gears, It fells really rough if I turn on side of the diff and then smooth on the other side. Everything else seems ok. My son races with this truck, he's a little hard on them so I thought the ball diff maybe a little difficult to keep smooth.

Most people run suburbs or wishbones. As for setups, use Ryan Mayfield's.

Thanks I have gold barcodes for now which works really well at my track so I'll try them out there. If not I have rear suburbs I can switch them out to. Hopefully if work allows I'll be there sometime next month.....

I run at either coyote hobbies or greenflag raceway in victorville/hesperia since I live out here........ I haven't had time to dial in my 2wd sc10 because I've been running my 4x4 more often, plus I just got my new esc and motor in yesterday so I have to solder and install everything asap...........

What are good days to run at westcoast, and any rules etc I should know about beforehand?

However, most of us guys run the Suburbs, and theirs steer more then mine, so I figured it has to be in the setup. I am one of the only locals that is running stock at the moment, so I really can not ask for a lot of help since they are all running mod!

Also, does anyone have a chart or something of all the gearing options that will work? I am looking for an equal amount of speed and tourqe from my 17.5. I though about going with a 69 spur with 35 pinion which gives me the FDR I am aiming for, but not sure if I can manage that!
