If you maintain the same ride height at the chassis, it has similar effects to raising or lowering the inner ballstud. Running both spacers under the steering hub raises the roll center and running both spacers ontop lowers it.

hot bodies megagrids also rule for a low traction track. I run either those or subcultures in the rear depending on conditions, and soft compound AKA enduros up front. That's about as good as its going to get I think. :)

Whats the diff between mega's and the sub's?
what makes you decide on one or the other.
I like the tread on the mega and have thought about trying them.

mega is better, in my opinion, for looser stuff than subcultures. The tread is a little "bigger" and "looser" on the megagrids, and the cpink compound seems a lil tackier than the JConcepts green. So if I have subs on and it's breaking loose, on go the megas.

So far the Megagrids are the best tire in the loose stuff I've tried yet. Even on the odd clay section at my home track they grip great!

I do have a set of Enduros to try this season as I haven't had a go with those yet. Will be interesting to try them as I've heard great things about them.

Anyone got their SC10 running on 1/8 buggy wheels? with AKA 17mm wheel adapter?

Once the AE SC 4x4 comes out I will be switching over to the zero off-set wheels that Pro-Line makes the kit for. The new truck also uses zero off-set wheels. All though I am sure someone will make a 17mm kit for the new truck too once they can get there hands on one.

Already switched to the zero offset and glad i did. At first i was concerned about finding wheels but with the new losi and ae trucks using them they wil be everywhere and made by everyone.

are the nuts on the sc10 mostly metric or standard size? wheels nuts, sliper etc.. wanting to order a set of nut drivers but wasnt sure which to get.

I think everything is standard except the Motor mount screws which take the 2mm. So you need the 3/16", 1/16" .05",

Goosebumps rule on my stadium truck here, would that mean they would be my best bet for my SC? so many SC tires, geez.

Are the new Losi rear wheels zero off-set too.

Pro-line Matt said the Losi 4x4 and Asso 4x4 are using zero offset.
don't know about losi 2wd.

U heard some bad things about AKA hex conversion, especially the long nut in the center. So far so good?

Before I say this, I will state that I have aluminum shock towers on my SC10 for bling factor. I have never seen anyone break a sc10 shock tower, so my statement would be that the RPM tower isn't really needed.
