The stock ready to run has lipo cut off but make sure you follow your directions for setting it.

It does have the lipo cutoff function and the RTR comes from the factory with lipo cutoff as the default setting, so you should not need to program anything.

Good luck,

Jim

Im sure it has been asked but what side does the diff adjusting screw go on the left or right of the car

Left side

Do you guys more or less run the same spring setup and oil wt? Maybe shift up/down spring stiffness by one size?

I'm still having difficulty with rear traction and keeping her straight. Hoping it doesn't rain too much so I can get this car dialed in and actually finish some laps without breaking.

Alot of the keeping it straight issue is caused by the ball diff or gear diff fluid.

the gear diff has 10k weight fluid in it, should i go back to black grease?

I had/have a ball diff but stripped out the gear, too much power I presume with the 4600 kv motor, I had a lot of problems with the ball diff, it worked great when it worked but something was always going wrong with it. Too much hassle for me.

It all depends you need to figure out if its too tight spinning both tires causing loss of traction or is it too loose and each side of diff fighting each other. could need more weight oil or less. i run the ball so i can't help much on the gear diff fluid.

Does anyone have a good setup for an indoor concrete with high traction. Small track with wood jumps. Highest jump is like 3 in.

Get the rebuild kit. You can't really SEE the wear on the gears if you've got the old one that needs to be shimmed.

The best that I noticed on my SC10 was coating the gears with 100k OFNA diff oil. Worked great. And also pull the real small seals on the outdrives as to these will bind when they get torn. And of course run 2 shims behind each of the cross pins in the diff so that the spider gears don't get stripped out.

Try spraying a little Pledge on the Idler gear & assemble trans, works better than using diff oil ...:tire:

The FT manual doesn't say one way or the other, for years AE manuals had you put it on the RIGHT side but I don't think it matters, and obviously AE doesn't think so.
