Go with a stock 3 degree block and the 1.5 degree hubs. Ball diff helps immensely. Green rear springs, Gold or Red front springs. Use the battery to fine tune.

are the anti squat shims under the pivot block?

I worked on the foam insert. I wanted them softer than the stock blue proline ones. Working to increase sidebit. I run the 3.5* block with 1* hubs. The biggiest thing that helped me was to run more negative camber. Went from 0* to 1.5*

well i ran a 4* pivot on my sc10, with the stock springs, battery forward and calibers, it kept on looping out on me. any ideas on if i need to change tires,or springs?

You gotta have the best tires possible, if not, don't waste your time on setup changes.

What are the fast guys using?

You need to get some of those and your truck will be pretty close, ask about their setups at your track.

on what track ? tampa, ocala, daytona, jacksonville, titusville?

I go to either Clermont (W.O.W Raceway), I want to try that indoor offroad track in WinterHaven, and I'm going to Titusville tomorrow.

I have 2 deg antisquat in my truck as well.

For tires I'm running Subcultures, I mainly running on tracks that are loamy.

I know most guys are running ball diffs now, but I'm not. What fluid are you guys running in your gear diffs?

black grease works best and what people are using. I am using a heavy 10k wt oil but going back to grease.

I had a ball diff in that broke, the car definitely did 'diff' better and turn better on turns but it's a giant p.i.t.a to maintain these things cause they break so easily.

What do you mean "break?" I have ball diffs in all of my other cars with out any problems. What's breaking them in an SC10?

Yep, If you just play with your truck on the bench and roll it over like it's in a turn you can see that the contact patch will get smaller when the camber is set at 0. Set it to 1.5-2.5 and the patch stay's consistant or even get's bigger as the truck rolls over. You lose a tiny bit of forward traction, but the truck is much smoother coming out of turns.

The shaft broke on me. (twice) It's probably my fault but after talking to the hobby shop they say this happens a lot when it gets overtightened. Also if the diff is too tight the balls get hot and that causes problems too.

I do plan on going back to the ball diff fwiw, I'm just too lazy to throw it back in there, I just want to drive the thing and enjoy it instead of repair it for once LOL.

I'm going to try -1 camber in front and -2 in the rear
