You said you were sailing your SC10. How far are you sailing it?

Just for the day, or taking an overnight trip?

I just picked up a Brushless RTR for my son to race with. I haven't raced electric since back in the 2400 days. Can you run all of the races with one lipo battery and just recharge before each race or what? Also, what is a good size lipo to run with?
Thanks.

Yep, that's what I do.

I would go for no less than 4400mah. I run 5000 myself and have more than enough juice for a 10 minute race with a 10t brushless but I cut it awful close in recharge time before the next race.

I don't race, but I can tell you that a 3600-3800 Lipo will last about 20 minutes on pavement on the RTR. I would think that one battery should get you by unless your heats are really close together. If you get a charger that can push 2C (7-10 amps) you can recharge the battery to 90% in less than 30 minutes.

Guys I have a ? I just ordered a ball diff and need to know if the kit outdrive bearings on the gear diff are the same sized used on the ball diff and tranny case. I looked at my AE SC10 catalog and it says the diff outdrive bearings are 10x16mm and FT option for ball diff are 3/8x5/8. When I looked at the FT4.1 manual it says they are 10x16mm
Do I really need the t4 tranny cases? Is this all thats needed?
