Anything for ThunderbirdJunkie's loyal subjects

Mr. Chang seems to have hit the nail on the head, though

I just purchased some Proline bead locks for my SC10. They work great and seem tougher than the Jconcepts. Other than that the only option is the stock wheels from AE.

Thinking about getting an SC10 because I have a T4 - are the front and rear arms and suspension mounts the same so I don't have to buy extra parts???

Same parts, the spindles seem to be a little more beefy, other than that, most parts interchange..

So, does anybody have a good link for how roll center affects handling? That's one thing that has never been played with on ThunderbirdJunkie's cars, and he noticed a fairly large difference when driving his truck today since putting the captured rod ends on the rear of the truck w/spacers.
Now ya' did!

I'm sure somewhere in here this was covered but who has time to read 261 pages so I will ask it any way...

When I come out of turns I do not get full power and speed until the shocks fully come back up and the truck levels out. Will the new ball diff AE offers for the truck fix this or is there something else I can do?

The truck is completely box stock except I have 80wt oil in the shocks and run with a 17.5 lipo setup. Our track doesn't allow any other major suspension changes to be made.

Thanks for any help!

youre not allowed to change your spring rate? whats your ride height? 80wt seems a bit HIGH...

The ball diff is not that much different than your gear diff, if you put some ae black grease in the gears. Spending $5o to change the diff is a waste of money unless you have extra to spend. I changed mine to the ball diff and to me it wasnt worth the money.

80w oil, is not helping you at all. Your shock oil should be 35 max especially with stock springs.

I use the Split Six as well. They work great, but in hind sight, they are heavy... But I wonder if this actually aids the truck during jumping?
