The cans are open, they are sensorless, hard to rebuild, expensive, no solder tabs...I would suggest a Tekin sensorless motor if you are going to stay sensorless, plus they come in the low kv you are looking for.

yeah i just wanted to try something new. i talked to castle creations about everything and guess i'll stick with castle. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. I love their stuff and guess i'll try the mamba 4600 on this.

Give the 537 a try; should be more motor than you can use in an sc10. My friend had one in his truck and it hauled and stayed cool.

I just raced my SC10 for the first time last night. After a tire change to M3 Bowties it was on rails and actually pushed coming onto the straight. I race at a small indoor clay track and we run 10.5 or 19 turn brushed in the "mod" or SC10 class. This was our first race for mod. I ran the RTR motor at first, after the 2nd qual it was done, what a piss poor motor. The endbell shifted the bushing and locked it up. I'm really disappointed with that, but I threw in an old 19 turn and ran pretty well. The truck was pushing really bad, but that was because I had stock tires on the front still.
Overall I was pretty happy, no broken parts and the truck showed some really good handling. The winner ran a modded slash with 1/8th scale tires. but he was also the best driver in the class. Next race M3's all around and more spring changes and I think this truck will really come to life. Good Job AE!!!!
