Sounds like we should change to the B4/T4 rear arm mount to be able to mount the block with zero shims.

Yes cause the B4 has a total of 3deg a 2deg and 1deg shim.

It would of been nice if AE just included the B4/T4 0 deg mounts w/shims.

Maybe i will take the block out of my B4 cause i run 3deg in it and put the
SC10 block in it with a thin shim and have 0deg for the truck.

Anyone got any inside information or thoughts on the new SC Bow Ties from Proline - as seen on the VW video???

Hopefully manufacturers are reading these threads to get ideas.....How long before AE bring our rear hub options, etc??? Do I buy the Losi options as discussed or wait for the Factory AE stuff?

Awesome ideas with everything you've done. I've been playing around with inner bodies - Milk bottles, Juice Bottles. Now bought some fibreglass to try to mold something up. Question - I can't see how yours stops the parachute effect. Doesn't the air still get up the sides near the nerf bars and up the front and rear around the wheels and bumpers. I think I can see that it blocks out a lot of the air cavity, but does it make a difference?

Cheers

Default Proline Bowties are ready

Well their available through proline for 21 bucks but they kill you on the shipping so it will cost you 32 bucks for 2 tires plus tax for us californians. I will wait till their in stores. Unfortunately we have to wait a week or two for them to stock unless someone knows an LHS to have them in stock now.

Hi Sith Lord, I made it big enough to fill 75 or 80 percent of the inside and also I forgot to mention I cut a hole in the rear of the body of the truck to help let air out. I notice your from Australia. When I served in Vietnam ( I' am 65 years old) I was there with some Australia troops who were the nicest guys I could ever meet and they could drink me under the table. I tried to out drink them but I always passed out first . LOL

Anyone know what the jconcepts dare body looks like? I read bits and peices about it but no pics yet. I don't like the current aftermarket slash/sc10 bodies so I'm curious what it's gonna look like.

I suppose - filling most of the cavity would make a difference, together with the hole in the back. Cool.

Yeah, we have a bit of reputation, being able to down a few drinks. Of the full strength stuff too. No lights around here Not a bad reputation to have - a lot to live up to though.

I ordered 2 sets as well, total bill came to just over $50 with shipping. Not bad. Hard part I had was finding the SC10 rims to mount the tires. Seems front rims were the only ones to be had at the major hobby sites.

Anyone know if pro-line will make a bead lock rim for the SC10? My stock rear rims are starting to show signs of plastic fatigue around the pin area after only a few packs and a 17.5.
