Look around, there are some guys reinforcing the rear wheel with JB Weld. There are some new J Concept wheels soon to hit the market if they haven't already. Proline would be crazy if they didn't come out with something. The way this class is taking off you will start to see aluminum wheels out of China pretty soon. I'll be honest, although I liked the way the trucks look I thought these things were just a fad until I bought and raced one. I am sure the growth is just starting and wouldn't be surprised if other manufacturers join in the party.

I did the JB weld trick on the rear rims during the build and have been running it hard on concrete with a CC 5700 and it's holding up well so far. (I shimmed the axles too which helped as well)

The J Concepts body for the SC10 looks pretty close to the Slash body they make. You can view it on their website.

I didn't think they had released a pic of the new Dare body yet. But yes, the Truth is very similar to the Slash body.

Well guys, like many others, I've been fighting for rear traction on my SC10. Today, after a long series of rain delays, I finally got to wring the truck out with my "experimental tire theory" I ran the stock tires up front, and the Goosebumps on the rear.... PLANTED. Now it has a light push, which makes it MUCH easier to drive. So if you want an easy way to fix how loose the truck is, this is the ticket. Oh, and I'm also running 2K weight Losi diff oil in the gear diff. Just that change helped, but the tires made the real difference. Everything else but the speed control, is box stock, including the Reedy 17T motor that likes to run in the 300F range.

I know somewhere in this thread was talk about the steering bearings upgrade, but searching the thread is coming up with zero.

Can someone please provide an AE/FT part #, or the size of the bearings?

Thanks much!
