Imo the Stock wires on most sensor wires is WAY to stiff and usually leads to a fractured wire at either end of the connector with Floppy wires or not. Super soft is the way to go.
Thanks for the link

Well that made me all tingly!

I'm assuming it'll be a hardware update?

what size are the mounting screws for the RX8? And how deep may they go into the ESC?

The holes are 6.3mm deep and Ive used 2 different types of screw's before, Small plastic threaded screws and 4-40 with varying length's pending if your running the Kyosho Gel or a couple layer's of servo tape for Cushioning.

I it seems that you can't screw them in too deep. Expect is you force them and the case cracks. Just screw until they feel a bit tight, but don't force them.

Mounted my RX8 yesterday with some padding between the esc and the tray.

Does your rx8 have 4 mounting holes in the bottom or 3?

What's the entire setup being used?

Just to correct any misinformation, that plug has never given us any issues and that is not what is causing your problem.

If your ESC has 4 holes on the bottom you can send it in for upgrade.

Is it true that if you send in a 4 hole case used ESC and pay the 40$ fee that you get another 6 months of warranty?

I tought it was useless for me because the ESC is out of warranty, but if you get your warranty back...

Yes, if you pay for the $40 upgrade your warranty is renewed to the original 120 days.

Cool! That's worth the 40$ for sure.
Can I ship it also to Tekin in Europe for an other case. Or do they just forward the ESC's to the US?

I have my next race in a month I'd like to have it back within a month then, but I don't know if that's possible? And is it a problem that I don't have the bill anymore? The ESC is out of warrenty anyway and I guess you'll guess know what a genuine tekin product is
