going to turn the car on before my main and the same thing. had to literally fight the car to turn on, ended up yanking the sensor wire and it worked?

ran the entire race perfectly...with the sensor wire hanging out the back of the car..... then the mud got took its toll. puffed my flightpower 5000mah 4s pack.. car was 4lbs overweight with mud.

Can someone tell me whats going on in the esc?
anyone?

Sounds you might have a sensor issue. If that circuit got damp/wet this would make sense. Pulling the harness forced it into sensorless mode.

i run all 20c packs in mine and couldnt complain, buggy and truggy, you wont be able to notice the difference in the 5-10c, these cars are so grossly overpowered as it is only a few setups are limited by battery, and from what ive seen the 2050 is a pretty "tame" setup as far as amps go

Would anyone happen to know if this is a good starting point for a Revo using a Tekno kit?

Narrow 2-speed gear set
36T spur gear
17T clutch bell
2200KV Truggy motor
5s 35c 5000mah lipo

It says it should have a top speed of around 45mph (18T CB works out to just over 47mph).

I'm trying to find a fitting that will run well and be just a little faster then the nitros.

Kind of an off topic, will these servos be good enough?

Hitec HS-5645MG for the steering
Hitec HS-5625MG for the brakes

If so will the RX8's BEC be able to handle them or would it be better to get a separate BEC?

Just to inform the forum members about the great Tekin service :

No reply to my emails at all. No solution. Just a very badly repaired ESC (cracked case)

Bashing them on an open forum won't help your cause. If you had called them I'm certain they would have taken care of your issue quickly. I have had absolutley NO issues with their customer service. I have spoken with their President (happened to be pulling phone duty), the service manager and a few other people at their company on the phone. They are great people who are truly interested in getting any problem resolved as quickly as possible.

My Tekin RX8 systems (1350kv on 6S batteries) continue to perform flawlessly and make the nitro boys cry.

My 1700KV system took a good beating at the park this weekend and came back home asking for more. I'm comfortable enough in its reliability now, with the new board, that I might even sell my spare MMM V3 ESC.

Oh yeah, and I agree that 20C is more than sufficient. These systems are very efficient.

Again! I'm about tired of this Tobias. You haven't e-mailed me directly for any answers, how am I supposed to help you? So instead you just come on here and thrash us when you haven't helped your own situation much.

You e-mail me directly and I will help you. This is not acceptable.

Good, i hope i can say the same... And give it at least 1 to 2 months of hardcore running before you can say the new systems are solid. A few of my systems didn't go out til a few weekends. Some a month or two.
